I finished watching season 2 of Gossip Girl. But yung season 6 ng OTH ee hindi pa.
I soooo LOVE the QUEEN B, Blair Waldorf.
But of course, BDavis is still my favorite.
I love both shows. I just noticed some similarities between the two.
BDavis and PSawyer are best friends, and they fight a lot.
S and B are also best friends today, enemies tomorrow.
Both Brooke and Blair have manipulative-monster-moms.
And both of them are involved in the fashion world.
In both shows, they have love triangle, quadruple, quintuple and so on.
Their parents have histories.
Lucas in season 6 is already a successful writer.
Does he look like a writer dyan? Goosh, he’s so hot. Whew!
Anyway, in GG, Dan Humphrey is a frustrated writer.
But if I where to choose between the two, I would choose Dan over Lucas. Why? Even though Lucas is undoubtedly hotter than Dan, Lucas is also certainly more babaero than Dan. Well, at least, so far.
Those are just some of the resemblance I’ve noticed, so far.
But I don’t think na one copied it from the other. Kasi, as we or most of us now, Gossip Girl is based on a book created by Cecily von Ziegesar, its first volume was published around 2002. So she must be writing it months if not years before 2002.
On the other hand, One Tree Hill is created by Mark Schwahn that premiered on September 23, 2003 on The WB Television Network.
According to an interview I read, he was on the set of the movie “The Perfect Score” (that was about 2002 to 2003) when he consulted Brian Robins about the script he created (It was really supposed to be a film). So he must have written the script of supposed to be “Ravens” around 2003 or months before that.
PERO, ewan ko ha, these are all just out of my imaginary mind. I don’t know who “copied” or if there was really even a “copying” that happened.
