taste EXOTIC.

Last Monday, my friends and I went to UP TechnoHub to celebrate Ceejay’s birthday. We chose a certain restaurant although it appears on the outside that a funeral is going on. Haha. And when we entered, everyone is wearing black, even the customers. Weird. We are actually not satisfied with their service; we are in fact pissed with the strident tones of voice of the waitresses. Hehe.

Enough of the restaurant staff because the branch has just opened and I want to give them a chance. Whatever. Anyway, I actually want to talk about this certain food that we found on the menu.
It’s the OX Brain. I asked the waitress if it is fresh, and she just smiled.

It appears like a yellow sisig to me. ehe. And the taste—ugh! I can’t describe it because I don’t in fact understand the taste. Ceejay said that it tastes like butter. But it tastes bitter and mapakla, it's distasteful. It’s difficult to explain the savor, basta, one thing is for sure, I will not try it again.

Anyway, the Kabab tastes good naman.

I want to try more exotic foods (the mild ones only huh), although it’s frightening. Any restaurant suggestions within Metro Manila?

Anyway, I found this on the net:

Woot. I don’t think I’m brave enough to try that. yuck. It is found in Wangfujing Snack Street in China. Read HERE.
